Abortion Education

The first best thing you can do for your health is to get the answers to the following…

  • What if I’m not really pregnant?
  • What if I’m having a miscarriage?
  • What if I have an ectopic pregnancy? What is that?

Being informed before any medical or surgical procedure is critical for your health and well being. We know it’s a big decision and we want to support you by providing evidence-based abortion education.

ABORTION EDUCATION
Our medical professionals can help you understand:

  • Types of abortion procedures
  • Potential medical health risks
  • Possible emotional and spiritual risks
  • Questions to ask the abortion provider
  • What about the abortion pill or the morning after pill…are they the same thing?

We are committed to providing you with up-to-date evidence-based abortion education; however, we do not offer nor refer for abortion services.

Our trained client advocates will stand beside and support you during your visit.

What about the Abortion Pill or the Morning After Pill… are they the same thing?

No, these two medications are used for different purposes and are often misunderstood.  The morning after pill is intended to prevent pregnancy whereas the abortion pill is used to induce a chemical abortion.

Plan B One Step™/ Ella®

Also known as emergency contraception (EC), both Plan B One Step™ and Ella® are used to prevent pregnancy when unprotected sex has occurred. EC may prevent the new life from implanting in the uterus, ending a very early pregnancy rather than preventing a pregnancy altogether.

The Abortion Pill (Mifeprex™, Mifepristone, RU-486)

Medication that is taken in order to terminate a pregnancy.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says you should not take Mifepristone if it has been more than 10 weeks since your last menstrual period began.

The “abortion pill” is the most common form of medical abortion.
