About Us

Serving the Community of Astoria, Oregon

Coast Pregnancy Clinic is a medical clinic located in Astoria, Oregon, and we serve the entire North Coast and Southwest Washington.

We are staffed by medical professionals and client advocates. Our volunteer Medical Director is a licensed physician, certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Our desire is that every woman – and every couple – facing pregnancy will be educated and have all the information they need to make an informed decision.

Our Beliefs

Coast Pregnancy Clinic is a faith-based nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation in the state of Oregon. While our faith guides our mission and approach to patient care, we are committed to serving clients of all faiths and walks of life without prejudice or judgment.

We strongly believe that patients deserve to fully understand the choices available to them regarding pregnancy and sexual health, so they may make a decision about their next steps without coercion or any financial benefit to our organization.

Because of generous community support, we are able to provide all services at no charge to our patients. We do not receive any government funding for our operations.

Ways to Get Involved

2024 Coast Annual Banquet Fundraiser

Thank you to all that attended our 2024 Fundraiser. We had a wonderful evening of laughter and a great personal story from Pastor Kevin and Becky Lewis. Check back soon for a link to watch the keynote address. We were able to raise over $21,000 on this wonderful evening. Thank you so much for your support of this ministry. See you next year!

Baby Bottle Campaign

Our Baby Bottle Campaign is our largest fundraiser of the year. This event runs from Mother’s Day to Father’s Day. Individuals, families and businesses take bottles from their church that we provide, and fill them with change, cash or checks. Last year over 38 churches participated in raising money to enable us to reach women, men and families with the love of Christ, support and practical assistance.

Sanctity of Human Life Sunday – SOHLS

On January 13, 1984, President Ronald Reagan issued a proclamation designating January 22 as the first National Sanctity of Human Life Day, the day closest to the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision, Roe v. Wade, which legalized abortion in all 50 states. President Reagan proclaimed this date in history stating, “I call upon the citizens of this blessed land to gather on that day in homes and places of worship to give thanks for the gift of life, and to reaffirm our commitment to the dignity of every human being and the sanctity of each human life.”

Regardless of each state’s position on protecting the life of a preborn child, churches across our nation continue to use Sanctity of Human Life Sunday to celebrate God’s gift of life, commemorate the many lives lost to abortion, and commit themselves to protecting human life at every stage. We continue to uphold the third Sunday in January as Sanctity of Human Life Sunday (SOHLS).

How to participate:
Your church can recognize SOHLS and celebrate LIFE with Coast Pregnancy Clinic. Each year we provide a video, power point slide and handouts available to churches for their use.

Churches can also invite a representative from Coast to share about our ministry on this Sunday and ways in which the body of Christ can make a difference for LIFE.
