Frequently Asked Questions About Appointments
Why would I have you perform a pregnancy test if I have a positive at-home pregnancy test result?
Our medical team uses laboratory-quality pregnancy testing to ensure reliable test results. At-home pregnancy tests are not as reliable and may provide false positives or false negatives. If you receive a positive pregnancy test result in our clinic, that is the first step in the pregnancy verification process. The next step includes scheduling you for an ultrasound exam to confirm the viability and location of your pregnancy as well as how far along you are. Ultrasound exam results are verified by our Medical Director so you can have confidence in this information!
Can I have an ultrasound exam if I already know I’m pregnant?
Due to the resources we have available, we’re only able to offer limited obstetrical ultrasound exams to patients who have a positive result for our in-office pregnancy test. If you have results from another lab or clinic, we can review them during a nurse consultation prior to an ultrasound exam.
How quickly can I get an appointment for pregnancy testing?
We usually have availability most days during our normal office hours, Tuesday – Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. Call our office, text us, or submit an online appointment request form to let us know you’d like to schedule an appointment for pregnancy testing.
